The collection is inspired by the manga and anime “Shingeki no Kyojin” (Attack on Titan), a series set in a post-apocalyptic period where titans are the main focus, with an extraordinary group of nine people with the ability to transform into them, and humanity lives in terror of these unknown creatures. Throughout the story, several social issues are raised that remind us of the social problems in our reality.
Taking this idea of transformation and the disproportionate anatomy of the titans, the collection was born with the concept of organic vs. decay. This concept, which contrasts with the flowers that appear in the series as a symbol of birth and die immediately when picked, comes together with the birth of the titans, who, when humans abandon their bodies, return to the earth, decomposing quickly. The transformation and the notion of organic are explored in manipulations and dyes with the colors of skin, bones, muscles, flowers and even the ambiance, giving textures and reliefs to the formal development of the collection.
Sustainability was considered, and the zero-waste pattern and the notion of versatility emerged. The modeling of the pieces was rethought so that there was almost no or even no waste.
